The tec•on audio model SE34i is a 8 Watts per channel stereo integrated EL34 single-ended [SE] power amplifier, operating in "Ultralinear" mode, which offers "triode-like" lower distortion and "pentode-like" higher power efficiency, and SRPP low distortion driver topology. The SE34i operates in Class A.

The SE34i uses a minimum amount of NFB (Negative FeedBack), i.e., 2.5 dB to ensure a warm and detailed reproduction of sound. Without the typically large NFB in a push-pull amplifier to cover up distortion, the SE34i depends on the clean outputs of excellent custom manufactured output transformers to achieve its specifications.

Ultralinear traditional tube sound!

The input gain stage (12AX7) and SRPP driver stage (12AU7) of the SE34i are designed to accept a wide range of tubes from various manufacturers while maintaining optimal bias. This allows the user "tube rolling" to fine tune the sonic experience according to personal taste.

The SE34i is a conservative approach to the compact tube amp.
